Sarah Estill
Originally from Leeds in Yorkshire, our Musical Director Sarah Estill brings joy, precision and pride to Albacappella.
Sarah is a renowned singer, singing coach and director. An award-winning soprano, Sarah has performed as a soloist in leading operatic roles and performed with the English National Opera before relocating to Aberdeenshire in 2022.
Her performing career includes an extensive operatic concert repertoire as well as a wide variety of musical theatre, popular and lighter repertoire. She was a featured classical artist on the QE2 cruise ship and in 2007 sang for HRH Queen Elizabeth II. Sarah has made many radio broadcasts and several TV appearances, including featuring on an Al Murray historical documentary singing Wagner in 2021 and appearing on the BBC’s “The One Show” where she shattered a glass with her voice!
Sarah currently lives on a small holding in rural Aberdeenshire with her husband and many animals including dogs, cats, goats, sheep and chickens, as well as performing with the Scottish National Opera.
