What a great day we had helping to celebrate the 100th birthday of Cowdray Hall. As part of an exciting day of different musical performance, Albacappella was pleased to sing at the wonderful Hall, before walking down to Union Square to take part in the exciting day of music there. Our audiences at both venues were enthusiastic and we had a great time! |
What a fantastic time we had at our recent Open Evening. It was really great to see so many new ladies and we hope they will all keep coming back to sing with Albacappella. We had a fun warm up, which involved some quite scary jungle noises, and a mind-boggling coordination exercise! Our newbies started to learn the fabulous Sisters Are Doing It for Themselves, and we will enjoy securing that together over the coming weeks. |
Albacappella was delighted to perform at the Aberdeen Tall Ships event, getting the stage all warmed up before the Kaiser Chiefs later that evening. Our audience was enthusiastic and we all had a fabulous time! |
We had a fabulous. time at our community concert - thank you to everyone who came along. We were delighted to have such a great audience enjoying the fabulous acoustics and beautiful surroundings of the Westhill Community Church. Thank you Sarah - and to everyone who joined us for our first Westhill concert. |
The Cowdray Hall was a beautiful venue for the 2025 Aberdeen Music Festival. Albacappella sang three songs, and received a certificate for an oustanding performance for every tune. It was lovely to share the stage with other singng groups in the city and shire. A fantastic event enjoyed by all. |
Albacappella has moved to the beautiful Westhill Community Church as our new rehearsal venue. The church offers great accessibility from the city and surrounding areas, and a large, bright rehearsal space.
