Curious about joining? Come along to an Open Evening — a friendly, no-pressure way to see what we’re all about!

Our next Open Evening is on Wednesday, 28th January 2026, at 7pm. 🎶 What Happens at an Open Evening?
At an Open Evening, you can:

• ✅ Join in with warm-ups and vocal skills exercises
• 🎵 Try learning a new song (or just watch and listen)
• ☕ Chat informally with members and committee reps

It’s relaxed, welcoming, and fun — no pressure to perform! 👋 Who Can Come?

Any woman aged 18 or over who enjoys singing. Whether you're a complete beginner or a confident performer, you're warmly invited. ❓ Do I Need Experience?

No experience necessary! We welcome everyone — from shower singers to seasoned soloists. 🎤 Does My Voice Type Matter?

Not at all! Albacappella sings in four-part harmony, and our Musical Director will help you find the voice part that suits you best. Once you have your part, your section leader will provide you with support and advice. 🎼 Do I Need to Read Music?

Nope! We teach songs using audio and sheet music. It's helpful if you can read music but it's fine if you don't! 💷 What Does It Cost?

Coming to an Open Evening is completely free.
If you decide to join:

• Membership is £30/month 
• One-off joining fee of £57 for LABBS membership
• Additional costs may apply for costumes, travel, or accommodation for events

❓What do I need to bring?

• Just a water bottle – nothing to prepare - just come and have fun!
